The Linking Network
The Linking Network equips schools to build meaningful connections across all forms of difference, providing teacher training and resources to facilitate year-long partnerships between diverse groups of students and older generations.

Hope Unlimited
Hope unlimited aims to support local anti-racism and community cohesion charities. Projects include conflict resolution, community identity and inter-faith work and tackling prejudice.

Social division, anger and distrust is growing in the UK and beyond. Extremist violence and abuse is escalating and racism and anti-migrant rhetoric is reaching the mainstream.

The Guardian's 2025 charity appeal is supporting grassroots charities at the heart of local neighbourhoods that bring hope through practical initiatives to change communities for the better. They nurture pride, empathy and hope, making positive human connections and establishing common values.

Donations will be shared between our five appeal partners: Citizens UK, The Linking Network, Locality, Hope Unlimited Charitable Trust and Who Is Your Neighbour?
